Judy has over twenty years experience with a focus on beginning and intermediate piano studies. Lessons include music theory, sight reading, ear training, and stylistic expression.
Majoring in Piano Pedagogy at both Millikin University and Bradley University, she studied with some of the region’s finest music educators.
Judy is a recipient of the Steinway & Sons, “Top Teacher Award.”
She has served on the board of the St. Louis Area Music Teachers Association (SLAMTA) and held numerous committee chairmanships including ten years chairing the annual Sonatina Festival. Her students participate in semi-annual recitals, festivals and events.
“My approach to piano lessons for each student is individual. I use traditional methods to expose them to a variety of music styles. Note reading, intervals and scales are part of every lesson.”
Beginning students of all ages are welcome.
Transfer students are asked to set up a lesson/interview.
Judy also maintains a private studio in the St. Peters/Weldon Spring area.
